Scratch Day Celebration


TechPlayzone is joining the international Scratch Day Celebration on May 16, 2009.

 

MIT, developers of the Scratch Programming Language for kids, announced that May 16th would be the official international Scratch Day for participants world-wide to join share programming ideas and animation strategies.  TechPlayzone is an official Scratch Day Site.  In addition to the LEGO Creation Contest that TechPlayzone typically hosts, this year, there will also be a Scratch Programming Contest.

11 weeks of Science and Technology Summer Camp! Register for one week of camp or multiple weeks.  Enroll by 4/30/2009 and save 10%.

 

Science is sensational this summer as campers make animations, video games, digital movies, and web pages expressing complex scientific concepts.  Campers are grouped by skill level and age.
